In Barberton, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Ohio, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

It was a great place to shop for trees and pumpkins. The owner was welcoming and provided helpful tips for planting and caring for the trees.

Purchased 24 trees in 2021 all did well no issues. Purchased again in 2022 over 70 trees. Had 3 trees browning in first 60 days. Text Carl and let him know we may have an issue. Nothing in response. Over winter we had several more brown and die . Text Carl again we have an issue. He Text back no warranty if he doesn't plant tees for us. Never have I ever bought a plant without a 1 year warranty. Carl was a likeable guy we wanted to do business with. Unfortunately he is not much of a businessman . Never buying anything from here again. Rob

This is a nice, neatly organized farm stand with a good variety of vegetables. It's worth going out of your way to find. It's on the honor system...and they take Venmo!
